According to The Sun newspaper, Olly and Melanie, who first found fame through her advert for Boddingtons Bitter and is now the voiceover for hit U.K. TV reboot Blind Date, were introduced by mutual friends and bonded over their love of exercise and keeping fit.

“Mel loves a younger man and really fell for Olly when he got into shape late last year,” a source told the publication. “They were initially introduced through a mutual friend. They started texting for ages and some of the messages ended up getting quite saucy.

“They were bonding over her fitness programme. He was a fan of her gym selfies and thought that she had an amazing body. Olly was getting in shape at the time and Mel really loved his new fit bod,” the source added.

After exchanging text messages, the pair are said to have met for a date, before having “a whole series of secret dates at his house where she will sometimes stay overnight.”

However, the new couple have apparently been desperate to keep the romance under wraps.

“They have both been determined for nobody to find out,” the source shared. “It’s been a bit off and on and there’s a real physical attraction between them.”

News of their alleged romance comes after Mel posted a picture alongside Olly back in April (17), along which she wrote: “Not much can get me out on a Saturday night but this guy has!” She also praised Olly for his track Flaws last December, admitting he “sounds like an angel” on the tune, to which Olly replied with a “Awwww thanks babe”.

Olly has been single since splitting from long-term girlfriend Francesca Thomas in 2015, while Melanie’s marriage to second husband Jack Cockings, who was 16 years her junior, came to an end in 2014 after just seven months.
