SCOTT PORTER and his wife Kelsey Mayfield Porter took to Twitter to share the news of their baby girl’s name.
The former Hart of Dixie actor yesterday (12Aug17) announced they had named their second child Clover Ash Porter.
The 38-year-old actor posted an adorable picture of the newborn, who was captured sticking her tongue out and wearing a muslin hat to keep her head warm.
“Hello, World!!! My name is Clover Ash Porter,” Scott wrote about the little girl who was born on Thursday.
“I’m 9.3 lbs, 20 1/2 Inches, and have a 37.5 CM Head.”
“After a long journey and a slight 32-Hour detour through Neonatal ICU for my lungs I’m finally with my Mommy and Daddy. It’s very nice to meet you all!!!!”
Scott also posted an adorable picture of their new baby asleep on his shoulder, while he also appeared to be dozing. The sweet post is captioned “Sweet dreams, world”.
The former Friday Night Lights star and Kelsey announced the pregnancy news on Instagram earlier in the year. They both shared a picture of themselves posing for the camera with their two-year-old son McCoy.
In the snap, which is taken in a backyard, Kelsey can be seen clutching her baby bump, which is visible beneath a floral maxi dress.
“Happy Easter from our growing family,” they both wrote, while Kelsey adding rabbit and baby emojis to her caption.
Scott and Kelsey first met on the set of his TV sports drama Friday Night Lights and the couple dated for four years before they were married in Austin, Texas in April 2013.
