Country star Zac Brown is attempting to get out of an upcoming court appearance to settle a fan’s lawsuit.
The Grammy nominee is being sued by Karen Perry, a blind woman who claims she was injured during a Boston show he headlined in 2015.
According to Perry, Brown encouraged the crowd to storm the section reserved for disabled attendees during the Fenway Park concert.
Brown is asking that the judge presiding over the case excuses him from having to appear in court over the matter. According to documents obtained by TMZ, representatives from the concert promotion company Live Nation are set to appear in court during the mediation hearing next week (ends30Jun17) on Brown’s behalf.
