Though there is no time stamp with this photo, Richard Gere and Susan Sarandon are surrounded by a slieu of women. Presumably, the picture was taken at some point in the late 70s or early 80s when both Sarandon and Gere were in their 30s and the beginning of their huge careers.
Pictured here in the late 1960s, Anna Wintour was probably in her late teens or early twenties. She was born in Hampstead, London. Soon after this image was taken, Wintour would have taken her first editorial job as an editorial assistant for Harper’s & Queen. Not long after this, she moved to New York, and the Anna Wintour we know today was born.
