The Beatles performed atop a rooftop in central London in 1969, for their last public, live performance. They played for over 40 minutes before police asked them to reduce the noise. The original band was there plus Billy Preston on electric piano. The footage was used in their 1970 documentary Let it Be.
In 1926, Clyde Barrow was just 16 years old, but he was preparing for his life of crime already. He was just missing Bonnie. This was apparently one of his first arrests – he failed to return a rental car on time, and ran when the cops tried to question him. It got bigger and better from there on in!
