Born Boston, Massachusetts in 1931, Leonard Nimoy, 100% human and not half Vulcan, rose to fame with his portrayal of Spock in Star Trek: The Original Series. Shortly after, his name became synonymous with the character to the extent that the character was even heavily featured in his autobiographies. Although he was involved in a myriad of projects, his performance in Star Trek is dubbed as his most important and revered work.
