$34 million Will and Kate’s wedding cost a relatively small amount considering they are royalty. They spent $800,000 on flowers, $150,000 on food, $60,000 on champagne, and Kate’s Welsh gold wedding ring is rumored to have set Wills back $11,000. By far the largest expense was an estimated $32 million for security.
10. Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel
$6.5 million Justin and Jessica wanted to be sure that they controlled who was around on their wedding day. They booked an entire Italian hotel for their guests and paid to close down the surrounding buildings to block the paparazzi from crashing their wedding.
9. Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom
$1 million The couple only dated for a month before pulling of a million dollar wedding with just nine days of planning. The event was held in Beverly Hills and Vera Wang custom-made Khloe’s gown. Khloe filed for divorce from Odom in December of 2013.

$7.7 million Wayne and Coleen flew their friends and family to Italy for four days of celebrations, to the tune of $1.5 million. Coleen’s gown cost $300,000, but that didn’t include the $140,000 for trips to NYC for fittings. They also hired Coleen’s favorite band Westlife to play for $600,000

$4.2 million Sadly their marriage only lasted a year, but Liza and David sure did throw a great party for their friends first! Nearly 1,000 guests attended the nuptials which included Michael Jackson as the Best Man, Elizabeth Taylor as the maid of honor, a 50-piece orchestra and a 12 tier wedding cake.

$1.5 Million The material girl could have gone way overboard for her wedding to Guy, but instead she kept it somewhat low key, at least low key for Madonna. A majority of the cost of the wedding was for Madge’s $80,000 Stella McCartney dress and the Scottish castle the couple chose as the site for the celebration.

$10 million Yvette’s custom designer dress, was crafted with handmade silk lace that was created especially for her. They welcomed 300 guests, who then joined them in enjoying live performances from Robin Thicke and Usher. The party also included an indulgent seven-layer, crystal encrusted rum wedding cake.

$20 million The couple chose a castle in a Medieval Italian town, the castle fee alone was $512,000. Petra’s gown was a $1.3 million Vera Wang original. The couple treated their guests to an acrobatic display, nearly $200,00 firework display and performances by the Black Eyed Peas (who were paid $2.5 million) and David Guetta (who was paid $800,00).

$1 Million Their wedding was relatively low-key by Hollywood standards, the majority of the expenses were for her gown, 50,000 flowers, and a fireworks display. The couple separated five years later.
2. Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes
$3 million Tom and Katie were also married in a castle, in their case it was a 15th century Italian castle. Katie wore a custom-designed Giorgio Armani dress and A-List guests including Will and Jada Smith, David and Victoria Beckham and Jennifer Lopez were treated to a post-vows fireworks show. Katie left Tom after five years of marriage.
1. Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries
$10 million Kim and Kris blew through $10,000 on invitations, $6,000 on their cake, $2 million on flowers, and $2.5 million on Kim’s diamond head-piece to go with her three different Vera Wang dresses. The wedding, was filmed for a two-part, four-hour reality TV special. 72 days later Kim ended the marriage.
