15. Policies at Home
Foreign policy will, of course, have more of an affect on the world as a whole than that of the home-based issues America faces such as gun control, infrastructure, the workforce, marijuana use, and health care reform. That’s not to say, however, that what the Trump administration plans to do with these hot button topics won’t affect the world at large. As a first world superpower, the U.S. leads by example to its neighbors and allies. Some of these issues, such as gun control and marijuana legalization, are being faced simultaneously by many other nations and have been touched upon by the forthcoming administration already as the transition gets rolling.
